Choking on Words Unspoken: Come Around || @Jay
Naomi scrunched her face in confusion as Jay pulled her out of the classroom and down the hall. His hand tightly clasping hers until they got outside. They made their way to the lake and Naomi chuckled, of course he would bring her out here. It was chilly for the early October day and Naomi was glad she brought her sweater along. They unpacked their guitar cases and Jaime helped her tune the strings. Naomi made a quick open strum and laughed with excitement. “What songs do you know?” She asked him and adjusted the instrument in her lap.Naomi couldn’t help by smile when she saw Jaime standing there. She really missed seeing him this past week or so. Without him things had been quite plain. She was glad now that with these lessons she could see him more often. As Miss Ryan walked away, Naomi felt a soft shock of a kiss on her cheek and blushed a bit. “I’ve been pretty busy but the work is just boring. Nothing interesting seems to have happened.” She told him and adjusted the weight of her guitar case. “Where do you want to got to practice? I think they have practice rooms down this hall.” Naomi started to walk towards the nearest door see an empty lesson room. She waved Jay over. “How about yourself, Hernandez?” She asked with a grin and pushed open the door.Naomi made her way down the music hallway. The usual bustle echoed in the cluttered wing. Music students and teachers were occupied with every kind of instrument. Guitars, clarinets, pianos, trumpets, saxophones, flutes and so many other sounds rung in Naomi’s eardrums. Jaime couldn’t deny that he was excited to see Naomi again. He had really missed her. His head might still be a little bit all over the place, but he hated not seeing her. He quickly got dressed and grabbed his guitar case before heading out the door. He smirked as he thought about teaching Naomi how to play guitar. It was going to be interesting. Jay ran a hand through his hair and sighed as he climbed the steps to the music building and made his way through the halls. When he got the he didn’t find Naomi so he browsed through his phone as he waited. A few moments later he looked up to find Naomi and Miss Ryan coming his way. He pushed himself off the wall and gave a smile to Miss Ryan before turning to Naomi and kissing her cheek softly. “Hey gorgeous. I’ve missed you.”
Jay couldn’t help but smile when he saw her blush. He had missed this. He followed her and laughed as he took her hand before she walked into the room. “No practice rooms for us beautiful. They’re always stuffy and uncomfortable. Come on, I have a different classroom.” He smiled and kept her hand in his as he led her outside and towards the lake. “And I’ve been alright. Really busy with school work. Tons of fun.” He smirked and laughed as they finally got to the lake. He motioned for her to take a seat on one of then benches before her took a seat across from her. “Alright, let’s get this started.”
